Our new favorite spot!

Yesterday was SO fun! The weather was amazing, and I even got to start working on my tan, lol (swimsuit season is almost here, yikes). We remembered to bring our little pocket camera, so now we have some pics of our new favorite wall to climb.

This time we discovered that there are not one... but THREE anchors to set up top rope climbs! It really is the best beginners spot we've found yet. Anyway, since we're definitely not in true climbing shape by a long shot, we decided to take the pansy way out, and top rope everything. Yes... it was a stress free day, lol :)

Yes, he really is a cop! And here's the proof, lol :) We've had some friends and family request pictures of Vance all decked out in his uniform, so I finally took a few. He ONLY gave me maybe 2 minutes to snap away, but he was on duty so I can't complain too much :)

Well this one needs some explanation, at least it would for me! Vance thought it would be cool to make one of his pics all 70s style, kinda like the whole Dirty Harry thing... but with a smile, lol. Anyway, this is my quick attempt to digitize the pic for him. Not exactly my specialty, but it was fun and I think it looks decent :)

More climbing!

I have to apologize first... there are no pictures this time. Sorry! We were too busy trying not to fall :)

Anyway, so Vance and I went climbing on Friday in Red Rock Canyon. This time we think we have found the PERFECT beginner's climb. So those of you who are daring enough to try... we have a great spot to introduce you to climbing :) Yes... this is an invitation. Come climb with us!

WARNING: Anyone planning to visit us will be taken climbing at this new spot!

Day at the Fair!

You just gotta love the fair. Where else can you ride the Ferris wheel, eat an enormous smoked turkey leg, and watch little kids get brutalized in the mutton busting competition? There really is no better family outing, lol :)

Here's little Whit, taking it all in from her stroller. She spent most of her day locked up in that thing... but I think she enjoyed herself.

Kelsey on the other hand didn't have the greatest time this year. Shortly after we arrived, she puked all over the picnic table while we were eating lunch. Not a pretty sight! Luckily no one really cared... that sort of thing is pretty much expected at the fair... right? Needless to say, she spent the next couple of hours sleeping in a wagon :)

Buy Whitney continued to enjoy the sights :)

Vance took her to the kids park while Kelsey slept in the shade for awhile.

She had tons of fun with all the toys, and the one on one attention :)

Kelsey eventually woke up, and was feeling a little bit better. So... we let her ride the ponies, which she absolutely loved! It was worth staying just for that :)
